Depending on the class of travel and fare type you choose, customers may enjoy complimentary advance seat selection or opt to pay a fee to select their seat in advance.
Here’s how it works:
| Suites, First Class or Business Class | Customers enjoy complimentary seat selection at any time. |
| Premium Economy Class | Customers may select seats in advance for free. Or, if they wish to fly in greater comfort, they may select an Extra Legroom Seat for a fee. |
| Economy Class | Depending on the fare type chosen, customer may select a seat in advance for free or a fee. |
Our seat selection API allows customers on partner sites to make an advanced seat selection request so long as his flight booking has been ticketed. For more information on the detailed seating options that SIA offers, refer to this link.

Partner can offer more value added services to their customers by enabling them to manage their SIA booking and add on their preferred seat to the booking. Depending on the fare family customer is booked in and the type of seat selected, the seat may be chargeable or non-chargeable. Email confirmation of the selected seat will be sent to the customer directly. All ancillary purchases are non-refundable.
