How does Changi Transit Privileges benefit from our Booking Information API?
Prior to the integration of the API, the collection of the Changi Transit Voucher requires passengers to produce their transit itineraries for CAG to physically sight it to verify eligibility for the CTP. The process is time consuming as multiple data points have to be checked and collection of voucher is a potential congestion point for transit passengers especially when multiple groups of passengers arrive via different flights to connect onto their next flight, resulting in long waiting time.
With the integration of the API which instantly checks multiple data points, CAG staff will instantly receive the eligibility of the passengers, cutting processing time and translating to around 25% reduction in waiting time for passengers.

How it works
Booking Information API
Through querying the E-Ticket number of SIA’s passenger, the API will respond with a 'Yes' or 'No' against the set eligibility criteria, without divulging personal data of pax.
