API used: Booking Information
hotspot unites two travel essentials: WiFi and travel app! hotspot has partnered with Singapore Airlines exclusively to provide its customers a free pocket WiFi device to stay connected throughout their visit in Singapore. Travellers can pre-book their hotspot device via the Singapore Airlines website for collection on their arrival day into Singapore Changi Airport.
How does hotspot benefit from our Booking Information API?
hotspot utilises our booking information API to determine the eligibility criteria of SIA customers who wish to reserve their hotspot device prior to their arrival in Singapore. By gathering information about the number of eligible passengers in an itinerary wishing to collect the free rental device, hotspot can optimise its inventory on hand to serve arriving customers.

How it works
Booking Information API
With the input of customer's SIA booking reference number and last name, the API will be able to verify if the customer is eligible to collect the device, and subsequently make a reservation for his/her hotspot device prior to arrival in Singapore.
